If You Decided To Turn Into A Zombie T-Shirt.

You now have the power to decide when you want to turn into a zombie, someone at work making fun of your awesome flamingo tie? Scare the shit out of him by flipping over...your shirt, and at the same time show off your toned body, or boobs if you're a girl, either way you're sure to get tons of reactions from this shirt.

The Walking Dead - Comic Book Series

The Walking Dead is a black and white comic book series created by Robert Kirkman The series is centered on the character Rick Grimes who wakes up in the hospital (28 Days anyone?) and finds out that no one is around, and quickly discovers that the hospital staffs and patients are zombies.

Though this book does contain a lot of zombies and zombies being killed, and zombies eating humans, it is NOT a zombie book.

The series stand out not only because of the artwork but also because of the character developments. The series introduce a lot of characters into the story, and a lot of the characters do get killed, from the zombies or from other humans. It's the journey of the characters and how they deal with the situations they are in, what they are willing to do to survive, and dealing with consequences.

This is definitly worth checking out, espicially if you are into zombies (you're here right?) and comic books that have a more serious tone.

Black Weekend

Image found via CityPages.

Did you all survive Black Friday? I barely did. I did manage to get most of my gift shopping done. Woohoo! Now, allow me to regale you with a tale of a Black Friday of yore...

It was 2 or 3 in the morning. I don't remember exactly, I was so dazed. I was in line outside of a Wal-Mart waiting with several others to get a Tickle-Me Elmo or a Furby or some crap. (I was gonna be the cool aunt, dang it!) When the doors opened and employees let us in, it become clear no one was prepared for this. I saw a startled employee near the toy section see everyone coming and she cried out, "Oh God! Here they come!" She then made a run for it. Women trampled one another, gentle old ladies bit at anyone who came too close, and a pregnant lady very nearly lost the child she was carrying in the carnage. I threw myself in front of her to protect her and her protruding belly.

I swear, sometimes, people really are just like zombies.

Zombie Stitchery

Found via Average Jane Crafter.

We've all seen them. Vintage stitch designs featuring domestic goddesses happily frolicing in the kitchen. Why don't we zombify them. Average Jane Crafter did this beautifully. Imagine this design on a tea towel hanging innocently in front of your oven.

You could probably even stain it with red dye to make it look bloody. Now there's something you can pass down to the kids.

Pass the Brains, Please

Found via Flickr.

Mmm, who wouldn't choose a nice plate of brains over the traditionally too-dry turkey? Imagine visiting the folks this year and bringing over a bowl of bleached brains (steamed cauliflower) or a nice brain pie. Do you have any special zombie Thanksgiving plans?
